Many of you have sent us feedback indicating that it's not always possible for you to test your HTML newsletter designs in Litmus, because we require you to send an email to us.
If you're not using an email service provider or an email client that supports such a feature, sending your HTML designs as an email can be quite tricky.
Litmus now supports pasting in your email's subject and HTML content, no sending required!
If you'd like to upload your HTML instead of sending us a test email, select the "Start test" button as usual.

Next, when your temporary email address is generated, select the "upload your email's HTML" link.

You'll be offered fields to enter your email's subject and HTML content. Paste these in from your favourite editor and hit the "Start test" button to begin your test.

We've just added Yahoo! Mail Classic and Mail.com email clients to Litmus' email testing service.

They're available to all Litmus customers immediately.
Yahoo! Mail comes in two flavours. Yahoo! Mail, the most popular, has been available within Litmus for sometime. Yahoo! Mail Classic, an older, less resourceful version of Yahoo!'s webmail service is still being offered to users that opt out of the newer interface.
Mail.com provides consumers with web-based e-mail services as well as offering a portal for news, entertainment and other services.
Are we adding the right clients?
We've a big list of email clients we're in the process of adding. These are the latest to leave our testing suite, ready for the real world. To help us decide which to focus on, we'd love to hear your thoughts on which clients are most important to you. Reply in the comments or by emailing us at hello@litmusapp.com.
This week there was a new addition to our team here at Litmus. James Halliday has joined us to handle our reseller accounts.
If you would be interested in licensing our testing technology to integrate with your own products you can email James to find out a little more about our reseller options.
Welcome to Litmus, James, it's great to have you on board!
Phew, yet another new feature to announce today!
Litmus tests now include a link to download all of your result images. You'll see this link as soon as your test completes.

They'll be bundled together as a zip file ready for you to view in your favourite image viewer.

Today we're also announcing that we're reducing the time we keep your results from 12 months to 6 months. This only applies to tests created after 28th October 2008.
If you'd like to keep your results beyond 6 months, open the test in Litmus and select the "Download a zip file" link. If you have any thoughts on this change, we'd love to hear them, please email us at hello@litmusapp.com or add a comment below this post.
As always, we're looking forward to your take on this new feature!
Another frequently requested feature has been added to Litmus web page testing today, recapturing your page in just one browser.
Sometimes, while testing a design, you need to make a small tweak for just one browser, then quickly check the effect of that change.
Until today, you had to retest in all of your target browsers, now you can click "Recapture" and your result for that single browser will begin processing again.

We'd love to hear your feedback about this new feature!
